'worth it' moments
« on: 02 June 2014, 10:23:18 pm »
Of course, after a lucrative week I get a buzz from counting the cash, but I'm talking more about the rewards that aren't monetary: the moments where you feel like you've really done something worthwhile and made a difference.

One of my regulars had a real issue with confidence as he thought he had a really small penis (he didn't, it was average). Today I got this text from him:

"Hi Amber, it's 'x'. I am now in a relationship but I would like to thank you for giving me confidence and making me feel better about myself. I wish you all the best for the future."
I felt so proud of my fledgling, and it was so nice of him to send me a message.

Another client was a guy with a sever porn addiction, who had not had sex for ten years, and was unable to, as he was so focussed on 2D sex. It took a few sessions but we overcame.  His problems, and he has gone on to see other sex workers, but still checks in with me from time to time. It makes me feel really good about the work we do.

What are your 'feel good' client moments, other than the obvious ;)
"I believe that sex is one of the most beautiful, natural, wholesome things that money can buy."

I have a regular who recently told me his sexlife with his wife improved, he started to enjoy it more and so does the wife :)
I teach him a few things and Im glad I could help him.

One client said that I gave him a sense of direction in his life. This made me proud.

I love getting the little thank you texts/emails afterwards. It always puts a smile on my face for the rest of the day thinking that they've left happy and have made the effort to send the text.

I had a guy who was disabled and in a chair thank me for giving him back some of his confidence, overlooking his disability and making him feel (as he'd described) normal again for the first time in years. Bless him. He'd tried booking a working girl once before me but the cow had took once glimpse of him in his chair and did a runner with his money  :-\

His disability wasn't an issue for me in the slightest and what was just routine booking for me made him feel good about himself if only for a few hours. It made me feel good knowing i'd made somebody happy  :)
