I find it interesting that you take the clients word that said girl earns this or that.the client could be lying, got the wrong end of the stick, made their own conclusions etc. But you certainly wouldn't know what was said because you were not there, with the client and the girl. I don't see how you can say that anyone is 'boasting' by taking the word of a client. And even if the girl  was, so what? It doesn't effect your business. If her business is going well, then good for them, and if they want to share that, well that's entirely their choice.

 I personally find it icky to talk about finances to anyone, but if a client asks how business is I wouldn't lie either way. I would just say fine or quiet and move the conversation on.

I think it is important not to let a client think that you have thousands under the mattress though.

The issue of money is something that some clients do like to talk about. Admittedly you don?t know whether to believe it or not. I once had a guy who went to see someone very similar to me (hence why I think he felt it appropriate to comment) tell me that she had informed him she was earning 250k. I?m sure some girls do divulge this sort of information. Personally I don?t see why they feel it necessary or appropriate but each to their own I suppose.

and some clients also talk out of their arse. 

How many punters have you seen on punter boards that think that because a girl charges ?150 an hour and that she is available for 12 hours a day seven days a week that she must therefore make ?12600 a week?  Because they cannot tell the difference between being available and actually being booked.

They have no concept of being self employed because the majority of them are wage slaves. 

I am sure there are girls out there who do tell clients that they can make x amount, but I doubt anyone would tell the honest truth.  I'm sure some girls exaggerate and others down play how much they make.  Some girls don't want clients to think they are desperate for bookings so like to give the appearance that they can take or leave the booking.  Other girls are busy but don't want clients to think that they are going to be tired and risk them not booking them, so they downplay it.

Take everything a client tells you with a hefty shovel of salt. 

I am finding that I'm seeing some guys that used to come see me years ago have started coming. It will have been 3/4 yrs in some cases since I've seen them. I know they do "the rounds" & get fed & swop & change.

If there's one thing I loathe from clients it's the 'have you been busy?' question.

Do they want to know because they want to get off on hearing you've shagged 10 guys that day and it's only 2pm?

Or do they want to know that you only see one or two guys a day, with five hours in between spent scrubbing every trace of client no 1 off your bod?

Or are they hoping you've been busy so they can rob your cash?

Or, finally, is it just small talk that they haven't really thought about, much as many of us ask taxi drivers if they've been busy that day?

A veritable minefield.

I have been on doubles etc where the other girls have said to the client in front of me how 'loaded we are' 'how easy it is' and 'how busy we are'

So f-king embarrassing! WHY OH WHY!
