"Hun"
« on: 19 March 2014, 02:41:52 pm »
I have notice that a disproportionate number of bookings where I was called "hun" at the time of booking turn out to be time wasters. It just doesnt strike me either as a guy word, its something a girl would call someone yes..but a guy? Im just suspicious. Just had someone try to book me for a long booking, asked them to call me to arrange but then they texted me instead, I thought it a little odd so I asked them rather than me come to their hotel, which is about ten minutes from my apartment, if they could come to my apartment and they said "no hun". I just think its a girl fucking with me. I dont know why, its just my tummy saying "noooooo".

What do you lot think? Do guys ever call you hun??

Some guys do use pet names without even thinking about it, or maybe think it's okay to be over-familiar with an escort. Maybe if you're unsure about them, ask them to call you before you confirm the booking and set aside the time for them?
If it's an unusually long booking I'd be suspicious too. ???

Yep, men do use that word as well as luv, babe or bbe which I hate and up here Duck which annoyed the hell out of me but have gotten used to it now as know it is a term of endearment and not meant to offend.

I think a lot of men are unsure what to call us as they know the name we give is not our real name so feel awkward using it.  However if it is an email or text I expect my name to be used to at least say hello at the beginning.  If they don't then I assume it is a mass sent email or text and ignore it.
Truth is far more important than what one wants to hear. With truth there is no us and them or colour or religion there is just fact

I've noticed that too!  IME like 95% of the time the person uses Hun, Love or Sweety in text they never book or they turn out to be completely bogus!

I hate being called hun, babe or sweety by guys or girls. In my personal life and working life. I don't know why, it just really irritates me. I have a name so would rather be called that.

And yes, I notice that guys who use hun or babe are usually sending lottery texts and they usually end up being the ones asking loads of questions because they don't know my name to check my rates/location. I just reply with the link to my profile.
If it seems too good to be true....it probably is.

I find when a guy gets in contact being overly fluffy with pet names it's normally a precursor to them asking for a discount or a service they know full well I won't do.
Why can't blokes just ring up say 'Hi Bibi, read your profile I want to book x amount of time on x day at x time.' Simples!
