Loving Photoshop!
« on: 15 April 2010, 07:36:14 am »
I've had photoshop on my computer for ages but haven't been bothered with it. This morning I woke up at 5am  :o so decided to do something useful with my time.
The healing brush is absolutely wonderful! I know it'd be easy to go ott with it which I don't intend to do but for blemishes/scars and stuff it's really great.
Today I'm going to have a friend take some pictures of me and will have a good fiddle around with them and see what I can do. I feel very empowered lol  ;D

Photoshop works wonders....Most all images of people in magazines are photoshopped. Not that they look awful...but it can take away every spot and blemish and make a person look like a mannequin LOL

There's a new version of photoshop my photographer was showing me...and its AMAZING. To sum it up...you can basically change the entire background. I can take a picture in my living room, and photoshop it to make it look like Im sitting having dinner on a beachfront hotel.

Im curious, is the photoshop the trial version, or the actual software? Cause I know photoshop STARTS at $700...and can be upwards of $2,000

I wish I could use it, but I have no artistic talent! As soon as it comes to making something look pretty it goes wrong, I was the only person in my year to fail art when I was 12. :D I have tried it, but I can't work it, just as well, I'd probably end up looking like a supermodel. ;)

I've also heard it's really expensive, but as it is with such products, a cracked version won't be hard to find.

Just a reminder: we don't talk about pirating software here.

Photoshop is pretty complicated and it's hard to get started without some guidance. I learned various tricks by watching other people use it, but there are also tutorials all over the internet. The full version is very expensive but they've made Elements for non-professionals who don't need the huge feature set of the full version.

Photoshop Elements is currently available cheaply: http://www.morgancomputers.co.uk/shop/products2.asp?CategoryID=452&SubCategoryID=529. 8 is the current version, 7 is the previous one.

The full priced Photoshop is about ?900...

Definately not a pirate copy, I'm using a friends computer which has it on :)

It is really hard to use, but I'm just playing around with it as I've got a lot of time on my hands. Good fun though x
