Sauna (how to deal with wig)
« on: 20 April 2015, 11:49:16 am »
Ladies I got an invite to a sauna [name removed] with a client, I am happy to meet there the trouble is he sees me as a blonde I am not happy about swimming with the wig on as I bet it will float off in the pool!  any suggestions as to how to deal with this situation.
I did treat myself to a fab new tropical tankini 8) , id like to just sit pool side if possible .

If you can't sit pool side why not let him know that it would mean attending without your wig?

It' shouldn't fall off as long as you don't go jumping in and walk in elegantly ( if possible  ;D)
Does it have grips /clips to secure it
Can you pin it up so it looks elegant /posh with some big hair clips or wrap so sort of head scarf around it and tell him you hate getting your hair wet

Oh have a nice jobby!

Take your 'stunt' wig (old one)
and do a swop in the changing room.
Clients never notice the difference.

If it's an actual sauna then depending on the type of wig you have it could fuck it up totally
The heat tends to ruin synthetic wigs,  it  can even ruin human hair on occasions even those that are heat proof

If it's a full type of wig so lots of hair /bounce similar to my style of hair then a sauna /steam room is like putting it in a oven and killing it slowly the curls will drop out of it quicker then you taking your  knickers off

If it's a straight /sleek one you will probably be ok

Depends on what you paid for it and how easy it is to replace

One thing I find works wonders on wigs / hair extensions  that need a bit of life put back in them is Avon Skin So Soft dry body oil. I find it works brilliantly on my hair extension /wigs gives a nice natural shine isn't the slightest bit greasy and had a nice natrual smell to it

I use this rather than recommended wig /hair products

I would get a sexy head scarf put an old wig on if you have one and use that

Disclaimer I have literally hundreds of wigs in my spare room in boxes  that I buy /sell and get from china  - I don't have a secret wig fetish - honest

If you have a big headscarf on....
do you actually need to wear the wig? ???

I think you would also need to ascertain what he expects to happen...........

You say it's a sauna?  Is it a healthspa or one of these swinging places ?  !

I'd check out the place too and see the logistics and also I guess tell him you don't want to get your hair wet so you won't be diving into the pool!

Hi EF,

I would say you don't need to justify not going swimming in the wig.... just say to him you prefer sitting poolside, and don't want to get your make up splashed or your hair wet! If he takes extra convincing just say that chlorine is not good for blonde hair (it really isn't - have just had mine done and have been told by my colourist not to swim for 7-10 days or it could develop a "greenish" tinge from the chlorine).

Failing that (and this is probably a terrible idea) but double sided tit tape cut into very thin strips and applied?

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Oh my God, ditch the wig. I could  not do with all the faffing  :FF. Short, chic and easy to maintain all the way.  :D
Be in your happy place

She could be wearing it 'for discretion' like me. I look much better without my own wigs and fake glasses but unfortunately, secret filming and photography has put paid to me ever trusting a Client to see what I look like in my Civvy life. I never remove them, not even in the shower or in bed  8)

If you wear a wig cap underneath you could put some tape on to the wig and wig cap.

Also try not to go in the water to much in case the worse does happen and dangle your feet in the water and play with your with the areas to turn the guy on x  :)

Say you don't want to go in the water because of your make up....
