Quirky little habits
« on: 07 April 2019, 07:37:14 pm »
Mine. Do you have any before, during or after a booking?

I take my clients straight into my client room and not my other areas as they are personal but once they are in the room and the little chat out of the way I offer a drink and even if they say no thanks I tell them I am just going to get myself one which gives me the chance to take the fee and bury it somewhere.

The little habit?  As I go to my kitchen I pass a mirror on the wall and hold up the fee, kiss it and smile. It is something I have to do. Silly I know but it's like if I don't do it the booking may be cursed.

 ;D ;D ;D

...Lol love it!! I have sort of similar thing in a mirror actually- it's when I give myself a final once over literally just on my way to open the door and say to myself something along the lines of "yuuuup, I'd pay for that as well..." ::) It's probably different each time but it's always along those lines lol It's probably a sort of affirmation, I suppose. I'm still quite new and because I didn't come into this until my late thirties, I still cannot quite believe that so many lovely blokes are a) willing to pay to shag me and b) not only willing to pay, seem quite happy to pay good money for it... Mind Boggling :)

Maybe these little behaviours could be termed  'prossie-syncrasies'  ;D

I have another one but it is slightly embarrassing. I may divulge when feeling brave.  :o

More or less the same routine.
Always hide my money in the kitchen, with a smile.
I also have a look at him and think easy work, could be difficult, or tough to call, so quickly gather my thoughts, whilst in this routine.
It's where a few personal items, that would usually be in my room, so it is like a trip to the office for me. ;)

Before a client i would look in the mirror  pose 3 times/different ways (think kate bush  with Madonna vogue).

Having like fuck all money before, afterwards i would fan myself with the money before I organised the notes. Sounds silly but it reminds me how not to take it for granted x

Once I've got the cash I'll always vacate to the next room to hide money. Then once alone, I either throw the cash and roll my eyes and sigh (if they're repulsive) or whisper "yessss" and do a little wiggle with the cash in my hand if I think it'll be an easy one.
I do this almost everytime haha. I often wonder if I'm all there...and then I remember I most certainly am not!!

I have "gamified" some of my work. My daily goal is to tell each and every client "Have a good day!" as they leave, in the style of a YouTuber my son and I like! I have a coffee mug that says "Have a good day!" on it and I put it on the side as a reminder :D

If I have had an excellent day and my earnings equate to a monthly wage out on civvy Street, I spread all my notes on the bed, take a photo and label the date and the amount.

It keeps me motivated  during the grimmer times.. :)

I have this thing where I visualise the client before I see him and play a little guessing game with myself in what he might wear, look like, and sound like, it calms my nerves & puts me at ease.
I started it when I was quite new and realised it relaxes me, so I never stopped!

I also do the going past the mirror thing and in my head I’m like “looking good girl”!

One thing I noticed, whatI do whilst getting ready, is leaving my heels at the front door.
I think the logic in this, is no rushing, or tripping, before opening the door to a client.

I have always done this but more for safety and comfort as all my booking shoes are at least 5 or 6 inch heels.  The shoes go on just before I open the door and are kicked off when I have closed the door on goodbye.

How do you walk?!
I'm so envious, 2" is high for me. My spinal probs won't me let me use longer.
I can't even use "quirky" boots either as my ankles won;t fit.
