Stockings & Suspenders, Hold-up's

I have a real awful time wearing stockings etc... as I really don't think I have the legs for them! A well as drawing attention to one of my worst "assets" they take me ages to get them on, roll down, become unclipped and overall just absolutely ridiculous!

So about a year in I gave up wearing them and actually found I don't get asked for them hardly at all so most of the time it's not an issue. If someone really insisted though I would put them on for a longer booking or overnight.

I don't think I've actually had anyone turn a booking down because I wouldn't wear them.....until today that is, and that was before I had chance to mention I was on my period which would've probably ended up having the same outcome if the last few days are anything to go by! It was only for a half hour as well!

Does anyone else have this problem with them and am I being unreasonable for refusing to wear them, for short bookings in particular?

I really didn't think it would be a deal breaker - I do explain why as well!

i would say do what makes u more confident it will show... if u put stockings on and u dont like them  it would make u consious and people can pick up on it

I didn't realise how awful I looked in them until the other day on a photo shoot and I had proper sausage legs! Hold ups aren't so bad but stockings and suspenders make me look short fat and stumpy. Sacking them off unless requested now

Where whatever the fuck you want. I'd put it in your profile somewhere, in a positive way with what you do like wearing for example "I'll be wearing a summery dress, natural makeup" etc., emphasise the au naturale if that's more your style, or make something up like "casual sexy" or whatever, try to play it to your strengths and persona.

I only ever wear stockings (hold-ups 99% of the time) if specifically requested to.

I don't wear either, but I'm outcall-only and tend to wear jeans. Not much point to have stuff like that underneath, honestly.

I love wearing stockings and suspenders as they make me feel sexy but don't think you should wear them if you don't feel comfortable in them. :-)

I love stockings and suspenders too, as I love the vintage look.  If I'm not comfortable in something then I won't wear it.  Some guys just have a bit of a fetish for stockings and suspenders, so I could understand if it was a deal breaker.

At one time I only ever wore stockings as I love them, I always have. Holds and I just didn't get on, rolling down and just felt uncomfortable. That is till I realised I was buying the wrong size. Idiot that I am. Now I know what I am buying I have converted to hold ups just for ease. When asked for stockings or basque then I wear them and do still love the look.

Yes, I'm another who wore stockings or hold ups, for comfort I usually work stockings and sussies.  It is very important to buy the right size for you.  I was carrying more weight a few years ago and had to make sure I bought larger ones. Size does make a difference there ... but let's not go down that innuendo.

For many guys it is a deal breaker.  Some guys too also have a fetish for them, young as well as older.

TBH, I can't stand the sight of bare legs.  Probably because I'm Scottish with very fair skin but even on darker skin I don't like bare legs. Maybe it's age with me, cos I don't like painted toe nails either. It screams "tart" to me, rofl. But hey there are worse things we could be called.

I don't really like requests for anything specific. I'm lazy and just get what suits me and I'm wearing them for bookings a lot more now than I used to. They definitely have an effect on most men, whether they admit they like them or not. Holdups aren't as good and for me they don't stay where they are supposed to when performing acrobatics. Outside of work I normally wear jeans.

Holdups work great on me. Primark hold-ups don't last long (lose their grip easily) but other brands do just fine. I hate suspenders as they're such a faff and they pull on my hips because my legs are so long. I just hate them and I pretty much won't take them on tour. If I have the suspenders and the clients really insists that he specifically wants SUSPENDERS then I will wear them.

I think hold-ups look better on me than suspendered ones.

Personally, I like the look of tights as far as how it makes my legs look when wearing a skirt. If not asked one way or the other, I will wear sheer nude tights.

..I am the same ...hold up's look much better than tights...oh I love nude tights and a few of my clients have commented - even though I say so myself I have quite nice legs, ha ha ha!

Drives me nuts trying to work out those clips, fiddly arse little feckers. I wear the basques with clips already attached as not a fan of suspender belts. My holdups always roll down on one leg. I bought some from Tesco & not impressed. Seem to get lots of guys wanting them. I like how my skin feels like it can breath again once I take them off!
